Ashley Burk, MSW, LCSW, is a master’s level clinician gaining experience toward licensure as a clinical social worker with a focus on individual delivery. Ashley uses a client-centered approach to empower clients to be proactive in their mental and behavioral health, with a strong connection to youth and adolescent dynamics.

Amanda Crum
Amanda Crum, LMFT, works with individuals, couples, children, and families using a relational, systemic approach. She collaborates with clients to set realistic goals, offers direct and honest feedback, and supports accountability without telling clients what to do. Therapy with Amanda is active and collaborative, focused on reducing noise and creating meaningful change. She practices from a Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and MRI lens and proudly serves military members, veterans, and their families.

Jennifer Landers
Jennifer Landers, MEd, MA, LPCC, is working towards full licensure and sees individuals who are dealing with intimate partner violence, narcissistic abuse, post-separation abuse, codependency, anxiety and depression. She also helps children and teens improve their self-esteem and express emotions in healthy ways. She uses a range of modalities and adopts a collaborative approach when creating therapeutic goals. Creating client empowerment is foremost.

Stacey Miller
Stacey Miller, MSW, SWC, is a trauma-informed relational therapist who supports individuals, couples, families, and poly-families through a warm, collaborative, and empowerment-focused approach. She integrates multiple therapeutic modalities to meet clients where they are. Her work is grounded in cultural humility and an understanding of how identity, lived experience, and relational patterns shape the way clients navigate their lives and relationships. Stacey specializes in areas including trauma recovery, sexual health, intimacy concerns, relational conflict, emotional regulation, identity exploration, and self-empowerment. She is currently working toward licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) as well as AASECT certification to enhance her specialization in sex therapy.

Emily Murphy
Emily Murphy, LPC is a fully licensed Professional Counselor serving adolescents, adults and families. She implements a Solution-Focused approach, also utilizing DBT, CBT, and EMDR. Heather Ferguson
Heather Ferguson, AA, BS, is a second-year graduate student intern and MSW candidate studying at Walden University with a focus in trauma. She is a retired U.S Army/U.S. Space Force veteran and is passionate about empowering individuals through strength-based approaches. Heather is currently gaining experience in crisis intervention and advocacy, is committed to understanding each client’s unique story, and in ultimately helping them achieve their wellness goals.

Meet The Founder
Heather Allen, MSW, LCSW is a Clinical Social Worker/Therapist/Supervisor and founder and owner of Guided Waters Counseling. She sees Colorado clients via a secure telehealth platform, while working with North Carolina clients both in person and virtually, as needed. With over thirty years of practice, she graduated from Washington University and holds a Colorado license (csw.00001295).
A big part of Heather’s mission is to grow and support the development of professionals within the mental health field. In addition to Heather, the Colorado Guided Waters Counseling team consists of other contracted licensed practitioners, candidates for licensure, and graduate level student interns.
Heather has studied the deep connection between mind and body, supporting a better understanding of behavioral patterns, neurological responses and related challenges. Along with the listed service modalities, she offers a client-centered approach for healthy body-awareness.
